The Robert Anderson Middle School Addition serves the growing number of students in the Anderson community. The facility required more classrooms, an expanded cafeteria, and additional athletic facilities. To service these needs, McKnight Construction was brought in for the construction of four separate buildings on the school’s campus. Two of those buildings housed classrooms, one is a cafeteria, and the last housed the school’s athletic facilities and locker rooms. These unique structures included wide hallways, science labs, and bright neutral colors to facilitate a learning environment. McKnight Construction also renovated the existing kitchen. Outside of the buildings, McKnight built two new parking lots and rerouted the bus loop to account for the new campus layout. Robert Anderson Middle School remained open and fully functional for the entire duration of construction.
