The Savannah River Brewing Company, located in Augusta, Georgia, contracted McKnight Construction to transform an old warehouse in historic downtown Augusta into their production facility and tap room.  The Brew house occupies 16,000 square feet of the facility, with significant room for expansion as growth of the brewery dictates.  The brewery equipment includes boilers, fermenting tanks, kettles, and 2 walk in coolers.   The beautiful taproom of SRBC is also located inside the renovated warehouse, with a magnificent wood bar at the center.  This 7,000 square foot tasting area provides complete visibility into the Brew house through large storefront windows.  In combination, the brew house, taproom, balcony, and beer garden make up a warm atmosphere for brewing creativity, friendly gatherings, and enjoyment of craft beer.
