The Oak Street Health Center was a complicated renovation of a medical center within an occupied shopping center.  This was a CM at Risk Project where McKnight consulted with the owner from the beginning, analyzing priorities which included high end finishes and on time delivery of a tight schedule.  The renovation involved a completely new build out of the space.  Electrical lines and underground plumbing were relocated and multiple walls moved to allow for a more modern layout that the owner desired.  The mechanical systems originally asked for had significantly long lead times, but McKnight was able to find an alternative with zero impact on the quality, price, or our schedule.
