McKnight Construction completed the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Office, which includes laboratory space for the County as well as office space for the County Medical Examiner.

Project Highlight

The Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Office is a 15,000 SF facility designed for both administrative and laboratory purposes. The building features 6,400 SF of office space and 8,700 SF of laboratory space, including a morgue, to support the expanding needs of the community. The project achieved Bronze LEED certification for its sustainable construction and design efforts.

Challenge

The project had tight budget and time constraints as it was for a public entity.

Solution

McKnight Construction worked closely with Precision Planning and adhered to a strict timeline and budget, completing the project on time and without any change orders.
